Oakroyd Catering was established in 1989 by Peter and Ann Hudson and is now a 2nd generation business with son Chris and daughter Emma at the helm!
Peter and Ann established the business after leaving Marks and Spencer, where Ann was involved in admin and Peter ran the Directors dining rooms. They moved to Yorkshire from London in 1989 to move back to Peter's roots and over the last few years the business has grown and thrived.

The bakery is based in Bentham with the retail shop run by Norma who has worked for the business for 15 years.
The Head Baker Duncan has been at the bakery since leaving school and works alongside fellow baker Gilbert who joined the bakery to assist with its expansion in 2004.
Our Master Pudding maker Alan is a well-established member of the team who has been with the company for over 5 years. He has the responsibility for ensuring all the puddings produced here are to the highest possible standards and quality for your enjoyment. He is assisted by Rachel, the youngest member of our team. Her    enthusiasm and commitment to her work ensure that all the products produced in our bakery are to the standards expected.

Son Chris joined the family business at the age of 14, washing up in the Country Harvest Coffee shop and on leaving school became a full time employee of the company. He has since worked his way through the business from the ground floor up to his current position of Production Manager at the bakery.

Daughter Emma also started her Oakroyd career washing up and a few years later after leaving university in Northumbria gained valuable experience working for WM Morrisons both in retailing, training and administration. She came back to the family business in 2004 and is now responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, sales and marketing.
